Jenna and GROWING UP FISHER cast mate Ava DeLuca-Verley visited the set of the TODAY show in NYC and sat down with Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie to discuss their new NBC comedy.
Jenna and Ava then chatted with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb on their segment of TODAY and discussed the interesting family dynamic of the show's Fisher family.
Jenna will make two appearances on NBC's TODAY show on Tuesday morning, February 25th, during the 8:00am and 10:00am hours, promoting the premiere of "Growing Up Fisher" in its regular time slot, Tuesdays at 9:30pm/8:30c on NBC. This airing will be an encore presentation of the pilot episode that premiered Sunday night after the Olympics.
Jenna returns to television in "Growing Up Fisher", a new situation comedy premiering this Sunday, February 23rd, at 10:30pm, a special commercial-free airing which will follow the Olympics’ Closing Ceremony on NBC.
Starring alongside the talented J.K. Simmons, Jenna plays Joyce Fisher, who is your typical teenager - really into fashion, busy with school - but the problem is, she's Mom. Based on the true life story of creator DJ Nash, "Growing Up Fisher" is a heartfelt new comedy about divorce, blindness and one unique family's quest to not let either get in their way.
After the special premiere on Sunday, "Growing Up Fisher" will have its series premiere at its regularly scheduled timeslot on Tuesday, February 25th at 9:30pm on NBC.
